I accidently nudge Mandy while we're at the Other Departments tray and she turns and faces me. Our eyes meet and hers are emerald green with a definate sparkle. We hold the gaze and her strawberry pink lips open to talk:
"You've got a white head on your nose." She says.

The highlight of Saturday night is Bones getting two bells on the fruit machine and gambling his 20p up to the £2 jackpot.
"I'm such a good old boy." He informs us.

Bones summons Perce and me to the Knight on Tuesday for a quick couple. We have more than a couple and when time is called we go to Bones's and polish off two Party Fours and four light ales. Then Bones gets his mums spirits and we down them and finally leave for home at three fifteen.

We have our Christmas do in the canteen where it's very rowdy with balloons and streamers flying everywhere. After this we go to The Horse and Barge and join forces with OS2 and ICDM for singing and a conga and Dave produces some misletoe so we get some Chrissy kisses.
After work me, Mandy, Jackie, Tony and Babs go for a coffee at BJ Moons and then to the White Lion where we meet the ICDM lot and carry on partying. Get home from work at 11.30

Karen W has her party at Bones's house. We go to the Knight while the party warms up but when we get there it has warmed up and cooled down again.
Have a couple of beers and a dance and Perce disappears with Den to the back of her Escort and Bones starts insulting me so I go home.

Have our Christmas outing to The Travellers Rest in Caversham. Get drunk and have a good time then go back to work.
After work I go to BJ Moons with Jackie, Mandy, Tony and Jackie's mate Jo and then to The White Lion and Tony says he has to go to a fancy dress so we decide to go with him.
Mandy drives pissed to Maidenhead and Tony strips his wardrobe for costumes.
Mandy dances all evening till the slowies come on when she sits with me. I want to ask her to dance but I'm worried she'll say no or worse she'll say yes and we dance and I get a hard on. When the second slowie comes on she says it's hers and David's record and I say will I do as a substitute and she says yes.
Wow, she dances with her head on my shoulder and I'm thinking this is how life should be 'till she decides she wants to sit down.
We all kip at Tony's, girls in one room boys in the other but Jackie leaves her handbag in the boys room so me and Tony read her diary.

We wreck the department on our Christmas Eve party then nip to BJ Moons to say Merry Christmas to Aslam before piling into The Horse and Barge.
We are dancing on the tables until someone notices on of the tables is the Space Invaders machine and it has smashed.
I dance with Jackie's mate Jo and have a lengthy snog and then get a load more off a load of strangers but I notice Mandy is avoiding me. Maybe I should accept Mandy and me are good friends and that's all it ever will be.

For Boxing Day Mrs F throws a 'Hot Dick Party' (hot sausages,) so most of the pub go there after closing and have a right knees up. Perce Bones and Ronnie to a Chas and Dave cabaret.

Jackie has split up with her Andy as he has two-timed her. Mandy is back with her David.
