New Years Day at the Knight and we recall the highlights of last night:
- Left the pub at two
- Go to Greenies house to watch porno.
- I knocked over an ash tray.

Rob and family come round for Sunday lunch. I am innocently watching Match Of The Day when young Nicky bites my big toe.

Myself, Mandy, Jackie and Tony go for a lunchtime jacket potato at BJ Moons. Tony and Jackie say they are getting enghaged soon and Tony buys a bottle of wine.

Venture up the Norman Knight where they have a new video machine that Bones and I soon get addicted to.
After closing we go to Bones's and he reveals he has fucked Laren, the large titted barmaid.

Jackie has dumped Tony and is seeing a boy called Mark.

I have started a keep fit campaign as I am eighteen years old and two and a half stone overweight.

Jim asks if I want to go to Spain with him and his mates this summer. I say I would but probably can't afford the £200 as I want to buy a car.

Mandy comes back from lunch at quarter to three and is pissed out of her mind. She asks if I want to take her out after work but I say no because she's drunk, (though I doubt she'd ask when she's sober.)

I am down to a nimble thirteen stone three.

Sally gives birth to my first nephew, Graeme John. Dad says they've spelt his name stupidly and calls him Greem to prove his point.

Dave has discovered a shop that sells fags called Superkings at 92p a pack so we trapse across town to buy them.
On the way back I pop into Knights to buy the Fun Boy Three single The More That I see.. but they say they only stock top forty singles. I ask how it's meant to get in the top 40 if I can't sodding buy it.

After work I go for a quick one in The White Lion with Jim, Mandy, Clare and Babs. We have several more quick ones and then go for a Whopper at Burkerkings and then Beadles for a few more quick ones.
I tell Mandy I have missed the last train so she offers to run me home and Jim comes to. Mum and dad are away and I wonder if anything will happen but Mandy just stops for a quick coffee then drives back to Wokingham so nothing does.
Stay up with Jim drinking dad's scotch and watching Kevin Turvey.

I am being moved from B division to A division so I buy everyone a drink in the Horse and Barge at lunchtime.

Bones and Perce have both broken the 100,000 barrier on the new machine at the pub. After the pub we go to Bones's and play Whatjamacallit. It's a game for children between five and twelve but as Perce points out, it's only half eleven.

Bet cooks Sunday roast for Perces birthday and me, Bones, Den and Mrs F are invited along. Have a few bottles of wine then Perce sneaks to the kitchen to do the washing up and downs the bottle of rum we bought him in one session. |
