From Mexico With Love

Nice park. And a slight niggle.

Today I went to Parque Agua Azul (Blue Water Park) the park that I tried to go to the other day but couldn’t get in. It’s really close to my house (about ten minutes on the bus) so I don’t really know why I hadn’t gone before. I could write a long description about but as they say pictures speak louder than words so here are plenty.

Later in the afternoon I went to watch a film called “Utopía” in the U de G (Universidad de Guadalajara), one of the public universities in Guadalajara. I went with an American classmate but she decided about ten minutes into it that it wasn’t her kind of film and rather rudely left me on my own. This must be an acceptable American thing to do, as Jesse did the same thing when we went to see “Volver” last semester.

El día de hoy, fui a Parque Agua Azul, el parque que quería visitar el otro día. Esta muy cerca de mi casa (unos diez minutos en autobús) así que no sé porque no había ido antes. Podría escribir mucha descripción acerca del parque pero como dicen una foto dice más que mil palabras aquí hay muchas.

Luego fui a ver una película que se llama “Utopía” en el U de G (Universidad de Guadalajara), una de las universidades publicas de Guadalajara. Fui con una compañera de clase norteamericana pero ella decidió después de diez minutos que no le iba a gustar la película y maleducadamente, se fue. Esto debe ser una cosa socialmente aceptable en EEUU porque Jesse hizo lo mismo cuando fuimos a ver “Volver” el semestre pasado.
